NO TWO PIECES ARE ALIKE
Every KAYA piece is made individually on the potter's wheel. Fine differences in shape and surface, a special feel in the hand and the characteristically fine rim turn tableware into objects you don't just see, but feel every time you use them. KAYA is made for people who appreciate this individuality and liveliness. Every plate, every bowl and every cup is shaped individually on the potter's wheel. This creates fine differences in line, height and surface. At the set table, this results in a special interplay: the pieces visibly belong together and yet keep their own character. The small differences make a KAYA place setting look lively and personal.

DESIGN YOU CAN FEEL
With KAYA, design does not reveal itself to the eye alone. The velvety matte surfaces invite you to touch them, the porcelain sits comfortably in the hand and the particularly fine rim changes how drinking and eating feel. It is these small details that we notice every day without consciously thinking about them. They turn an everyday object into part of our personal rituals – from the first coffee in the morning to a long dinner with friends.

MADE BY HAND
KAYA is made in Vietnam in a specialised porcelain manufactory. Every piece is shaped individually on the potter's wheel and then further worked, glazed and fired in several stages. The potter's hand remains visible in the finished object. Small differences are part of the design – and the reason why no two KAYA pieces are ever exactly alike. Choosing KAYA means consciously choosing porcelain with character and the traces of a craft that you can still see and feel years later.
