When choosing our carpenter, what mattered to us was the quality and creative work on offer, but above all the social cooperation within the company and the management's philosophy. With our carpenters in Turkey we found a warm openness and a great knowledge of materials. Their passion for wood and their ability to bring the material to life contribute to the quality of our product.

The unique grain of our Turkish producer's olive wood is reminiscent of precious marble. To make our cutting boards we only use wood from older trees that no longer bear fruit. This way, local farmers suffer no crop losses.
Our producer pays particular attention to drying the wood slowly to a residual moisture of less than 10%. This ensures that our boards remain completely dimensionally stable in later use.
