News from BENNY: New quality - new standards

Benny is now available in even higher quality and has thus celebrated its entry into the Japanese market! And not only that: To back it up with scientific results, our BENNY cutting board took part in a study by the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, which proves its hygienic advantages. According to this, the germ load on olive wood cutting boards is up to 10 times lower than that on plastic cutting boards.

Carved from good wood

The BENNY cutting board is the high-end all-rounder for every kitchen. Available in 2 different sizes of 35 x 22 and 45 x 35 centimeters, the cutting boards are an elegant eye-catcher and functional helper in one. Olive trees grow very slowly, hardly more than 10 millimeters per year. Their wood is therefore more dense and strong than the alternative woods used, oak or beech. Both boards are 4 centimeters thick, which makes them stable and cut and impact resistant. Handmade and polished, each BENNY is unique.

The MAOMI cutting board has an antibacterial effect due to the lignin and tannins contained in the olive wood. This makes cleaning and care particularly easy. With just a few simple steps, discoloration and moisture inclusions are eliminated - even after years of use.

The wood of the olive tree naturally has a very high oil content. This prevents odors from settling. With BENNY you have the perfect work surface for your favorite dishes.

Sustainably and fairly produced

The unique grain of the olive wood supplied by our Turkish producer is reminiscent of fine marble. For our cutting boards, we only use wood from older trees that no longer bear fruit. This way we can ensure that there are no yield losses in the region. We also ensure that the wood for our MAOMI cutting boards has a long drying time.
