Every BENNY contains the craftsmanship, experience and precision of the employees of our partner company in Turkey. When choosing our carpenter, the quality and creative work on offer, but above all the social co-operation within the company and the philosophy of the management were decisive for us. We found a warm openness and a great knowledge of materials in our carpenters in Turkey. Their passion for wood and ability to bring the material to life contribute to the quality of our product.
The unique grain of the olive wood from our Turkish manufacturer is reminiscent of precious marble. For the production of our chopping boards, we only use wood from older trees that no longer bear fruit. In this way, local farmers do not suffer any harvest losses.
Our producer pays particular attention to the time-consuming drying of the wood to less than 10% residual moisture. This ensures that our boards remain absolutely dimensionally stable in their subsequent use.
