Anteroom O

The anteroom on the second floor of a town house was to become brighter and more spacious. Unused space was to be utilised. Despite the southern orientation, the area was dark due to a small dormer. Sloping roofs provided poorly usable floor areas. By inserting a large dormer which extends almost across the entire width of the house, the room is now opened to the outside by means of a continuous window front of filigree steel windows. The newly gained space under the windows is used for a built-in shelf. The historic railings and doors are largely preserved and, where necessary, supplemented by new doors with hidden hinges.
